KIDS MATTER AT DISCOVERY CHURCH
Our goal in everything we do is to guide kids’ hearts toward God. From our youngest infants and preschoolers to our oldest 5th graders, we want our kids to know and love God and follow Him with all of their heart.
DISCOVERY LAND
Infant - Preschool
Our nurseries and early childhood rooms are staffed by parents and volunteers who genuinely love children and are overseen by our Director of Children’s Ministries and Assistant. We desire to create an atmosphere where children can feel secure and loved. All volunteers are screened and we adhere to a two-person-present rule to protect all children.
Infants through preschoolers must be checked in and out through our computer system. Each family can register in just minutes at the check-in counter of the nursery/preschool area.
DISCOVERY KIDS
Kindergarten - 5th Grade
Kids Praise is a time of worship tailored to children in Grades K-5 held during the Worship Service. Activities include lessons, songs and games. Parents, you are welcome to keep your children with you during the Worship Service or send them to Kids Praise, it's your choice.
Wednesday Night 6:30PM
AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” from 2 Timothy 2:15. The purpose of AWANA is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. Each week the Children memorize Bible verses, hear from special speakers, play games and participate in fun activities.
Ages 3-5 years
(age 3 by Sept. 1 & potty trained)
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
3rd - 6th Grade
